This was my first time going to Strands of Beauty. I was very skeptical at first because I had been going to a lady for over 10 years, who suddenly passed away a few months ago! Ethena (at Strands of Beauty) was highly recommended! With lots of hesitation I finally decided to go! I have to say, Ethena did an amazing job! I was very satisfied and I will definitely be going back!
came at the end of July and got my hair done by Keisha who is every time very thorough. I love that she takes her time and gets me out at the same time all in one. Definitely an asset to this company because she's the only one I will trust in my head, especially after my first experience there. Thank you Keisha for doing an amazing job!
Per the site, opening hours start at 11 am. I arrived at 1200 and the store is pitch black and the door is locked. I called and I'm told that someone should be there at 1245. Ok. So, I shop the nearby stores and arrive at 1245. Still, no one there. I call again and I'm told someone should have been there by 1230 because they have a client at 1 pm. Really? So no one will open the shop until their client's appointment. Mind you I didn't leave until 5 mins prior til 1. Still, no one showed. Unprofessional.
The stylist was a fast braider. Blessings to her and all the stylist.
Plan to search papers for the original stylist that did my hair for same results.
I was a first time client. Hair appt at 4. I Got there 30 min late. Was on a business call and did not call them to say I would be late. When I arrived I was told it's a 15 min grace period. I apparently had missed this fine print. It was not in any of the reminder emails. I explained that I lived an hour away had fought through traffic and apologized for being tardy. I was sent home. Told there was no one who could help me not even if I changed to a simpler style. I was prepared to spend $150 and bc I was late no one could help? Poor customer service.
