Awesome experience and staff. It is a one stop shop where you can have everything done from hair, nails and makeup.

I went in for a press and curl and came out looking worse then when I went in. They were nice and can probably do natural styles, but I paid $70 for my press and curl and had to go home and redo the whole thing. I am very miffed right now!!!

First the price is already ridiculous in comparison to other shops with similar services then I called in to make an appointment after being placed on hold for ever the lady finally got back on only to ask me a billion and one question instead of saying go on line and you got register as well as check in. Once she couldn't find me and I explained I was on a break and didn't have all the time needed to answer all those questions she said she would continue looking for my previous registration. I'll admit I said I'd call back but didn't cause she had already asked enough questions to have me on the books. Then I get there for this consultation the young lady that did my hair great Janey very nice young lady and great work but her boss on the other had something different. So I'm quoted 70 for a retwist I know high and 25 for a style again high right. Most places 70 includes your style. Honestly I knew they were high but I was curious as to why they felt there services were worth more then similar services and I noticed nothing different other then they want to be a one stop shop and they're boss which seems to be kind of a stick in the mud so I'm guessing she's going for a upscale type of salon reason for my sarong that the vibe is real dry like it's all business and it's kinda a fake convo just to make you feel welcomed you can tell the workers aren't being themselves long story short. Sorry I went off into a rant but the reason for the bad review I'd because I was quoted the prices mentioned then when it was time to check out the price changed to 15 dollars extra and the manager says and I quote oh we work by the hours here and she took like 2 hrs on your head so I'm ma have to charge you an extra $15 and for sale of argument because I didn't feel like being that person I said ok but here's my problem with that first you mention that before you start on someone's hair 2nd don't ask about a tip when you just changed your price h3ll no 3rd that's bad business and you had the nerves to play the race card on one of your customers in order to get them to purchase product from you.....just so you know that's why we buy from other races you don't have these problems they honor there prices/quotes. The 15 doesn't make me or break me but you're trying to earn business not run it away, and lastly and most important you have her answering phones, making appointments and doing stuff for you and the other stylist but you calculating that in as time spent on my head if anything as a good business owner you should've apologized for that and gave me the knowledge of how the pricing works for future references and truth of the matter is while she was doing my hair and you weren't doing anything you could've answered the phones I mean after all you did have your personal phone in your hand but I guess since you're the manager that just doesn't make sense although it would contribute to your business lookin good, running smooth and displaying teamwork but I guess you not part of the team you just own it. Excuse the grammar I just really wanted to post this to help someone else from having such a bad experience. 110 for a retwist, wash and roller set.

I took my daughter there to have her hair done for prom. It was AWEFUL!!! She (Sabrina-owner) made a mess of her hair. She knows nothing about color. We wanted blond, we left with dark black/brown. My daughter had more color when we came in than when we left. We were soooooooo disappointed. Sabrina did not one time apologize, her reasoning for it not turning out right was my daughter told her she did not want anymore chemicals in her head but at the same time she (sabrina) used chemicals to tone/blend the color she had put in her head. We My daughter was there for 4-5hours. The was no discount offered or amount off next visit. Lavish is suppose to be run by God loving people but all we received was Satan in disguise!!!!! My prayers are that she receives what she gives out, a hundred fold. I will never visit again nor will I give a referral .

I have frequent many salons and this one is the best. The atmosphere is superb based upon other salons. I like the kept time schedule and professionalism. My hair is soft and flowing without the “blow-out” I usually get when wanting my hair straightened. I have and would recommend Lavish Hair Spa to all.
