Yesterday my mother and I bought my husband 6 pair of slacks for work and the pants were a little snug. Today my husband, my 2 year old daughter, and I go in to exchange for his appropriate size and the sales associate (tall, African American, older man) ask what he can help us with. I proceed to tell him that we are here to exchange and before I could finish he says "Don't you see him and I are talking, you need to stay out of grown men's business, " after a made a face at him he laughs like it was a joke. Regardless it was disrespectful and I will never shop here again.

I just left this store and will not back. The customer service I received was horrible in the dress department. I had a question about a dress I wanted to purchase and the woman at the counter told me to wait, all she was doing was removing sensors off a few dresses but seconds later another woman whom she knew came up and she rang up her purchase! I complained to the other associate who saw me standing there and didn't offer help and she offered to answer my question but was patronizing and after this I'd rather order online or find my brands on Amazon instead. I'd advise black women above age 60 not to shop at Belk. I'll certainly warn people about the service here on my social media too. Belk, you need to do better.
Store Associate in the Men's Dept. was very rude. I will never go to this location again.
They didn't have what I needed but, everyone was helpful and nice.
